NHS OC develops and finances affordable housing and helps strengthen neighborhoods in partnership with residents, local government, financial institutions and the business community. The vision of NHS OC is to be the leading Orange County non-profit organization which assists low and moderate income families and individuals achieve the American Dream of homeownership and lead in the development of affordable housing. NHS OC prepares low to moderate income families for homeownership through homebuyer education, one-on-one counseling and lending services.
NHS OC is a Chartered Member of NeighborWorks® Network sponsored by NeighborWorks® America.
NHS OC is also an affiliate of the National Council of La Raza (NCLR) and a member of the national Enterprise network and is certified by the U.S. Treasury Department as a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI).
